Mobile Research Center
The Mobile Research Center Bremen (MRC) researches, develops and checks mobile information and communication technology. Mobile work and business processes are in the focus of attention. The MRC reasearch association comprises 24 work groups with a total of 140 scientists from computer sciences, electronics, communication technologies, news technologies, high frequency technology, production technology and industrial design. One MRC-work group from the Technology center for computer science (TZI) coordinates the worlds biggest project for wearable computing. Among other things these specialists are experimenting with a movement glove as a universal adjusting media for IT-systems. A possible usage for such a glove would be in airplane maintenance.
