Mahoki with its care packs is prevailing depite strong competitors
Mahoki, the start-up supplier of mobile bags from Hamburg convinced the jury and has been awarded
smartTextiles Product of the Year 2007.
The newcomers from Hamburg despite well-known companies such as O’Neill, Levi’s, Oakley or JanSports.
Further qualified companies were Westcomb, Urban Tool, WarmX, eBLOCKER, Xybermind, Novonic and the
institute TITV Greiz.
The rated criterions were idea, design aspects, price range, market opportunity and innovation.
Mahoki applied with the mobile bag car.e.packs, that beyond a very stylish appeal prevents from mobile radiation.
One side of the mobile bags are protected with eBLOCKER, a fabric that stonewalls 99,9 per cent of the radiation
by not interfering with the mobile reachability. The mobile bags are made of waterproof nylon that protect the
mobile phone from water splashes.
The smartTextiles Product of the Year was awarded in the area of the smartTextiles village during CeBIT.
15 companies from the smartTextiles field showcased their innovations.
The call for paper for the smartTextiles award was sent out ahead of CeBIT. Participation was free of
charge and not related to a participation in the smartTextiles village.
